Models and Renders

A short scene I set up to do realistic lighting and rendering with V-Ray as well as learn Maya Bifrost.

As a huge a dinosaur fan I really wanted to make more concerning the “terrible lizards”. This was modeled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, painted with Substance Painter and rendered with V-Ray.

As a huge “Star Wars” fan of course I had to model my own lightsaber. All modeled in Maya, and rendered with V-Ray.

An exercise in my low-poly modeling and scene layout. Render done in V-Ray.

A quick modeling exercise to show off ambient occlusion. Modeled in Maya, rendered with V-Ray.

A still render from a video I worked on detailing the play “Antigone”. I had to forego proper UVs due to the time constraint, but the model is to scale. Modeled in Maya, rendered with V-Ray.

A quick exercise in texturing, and lighting. Modeled in Maya, rendered in Mental Ray.

A still from my 2012 senior thesis film, “Justice”. I really liked the way the lighting and texturing worked in this scene. Modeled in Maya, rendered in Mental Ray.

This was from a 2011 texturing contest. They provided a carnival scene and we were to add textures and lighting. I took the liberty and inspiration from the ferris wheel found in Chernobyl and created this scene. Rendered with Mental Ray.

Video and Animation Samples
This was a proof of concept video I did a while back for the DCO. While I wasn't ultimately picked for the job, I liked the way it came out.
